On Christmas eve of the year 2000, Rick had a sudden desire to get a muffin. Despite bad weather

he decided to leave their home in North Attleboro and go out to Dunkin Donuts. While at the

drive thru he noticed a nice looking fluffy white and black cat sitting by the dumpster eating scraps.

He asked the girl at the window about the cat and she said it was a stray that they fed donut scraps to.

Danielle of course was not happy to hear this and she arranged to get a trap from the local animal

shelter and she went there and trapped the cat and then brought it home. She quickly got attached to

the cat which she named Penelope, or Penny and she stayed with the family until she died in 2009. The
