Pokey was a black and white cat that lived at the Village Green condominiums in Warwick, Rhode Island.

He lived at another condo but used to visit Rick and Danielle often. Danielle became very fond of Pokey

and then one day Pokey's owners left the condos and left Pokey behind. So Danielle adopted him and he

stayed with Danielle and Rick until 2006 when he passed away. Danielle named him Pokey because of his

casual walking style. Nothing bothered Pokey, even big dogs would come up to him and bark and he

didn't budge. He was a very cool cat and Danielle loved him dearly. This picture shows Pokey's

casual style as he is lounging on a chair in Danielle's art studio in 1997 catching some rays.
